What are Fragrance Oils?
Fragrance oils are always used by diluting and it should not be used directly. The reason being, that these are too strong smelling to be used directly. And so in most cases they are first diluted with carrier oils and then applied. Some
natural carrier oil includes coconut oil and olive oil while chemical carriers include propylene glycol. People can use the proportion of carrier oil and fragrance oil as per their need of intensity of the aroma they want. A higher proportion of essential oils will definitely mean a stronger aroma.
There are various types of fragrance oils available in the market which can be categorized as
Natural essential oil in natural carrier, Natural essential oils in synthetic carriers, synthetic aromatic compound in natural carrier and synthetic aromatic compound in synthetic carrier. Among these most widely used is the Natural essential oil in natural carrier.
Fragrance oils are should not be mixed with the essential oils as both are different. Also called burning oils or perfume oils can be in any place where you want to spread fragrance like in home scenting.
As Home Freshener
Put a few drops of fragrance oils into a spray box and fill it with water and shake it to prepare a home freshener. This resulting fragrance oils mixture people can use to spread fragrance in home. The oils should be avoided from spraying into the pets eyes. The water for the fragrance oil here works as a carrier oil.
Enhancing the Scent of Lotion or Shampoo
Fragrance oils can be used to enhance the scent of any odourless products like lotion or shampoo or body care cream, by adding it into the unscented product as per the requirement. People can use it for creating stronger product while less oil content results in milder scent. It should be used only after testing it on a smaller area so that avoid any negative reaction.
