This attar has charming fragrance of jasmine which comes from the base notes of sandalwood. The widest use of the attar includes perfumery and in cosmetic industries. It is obtained by water distillation of buds and flowers of jasmine auriculatum plant, which is a kind of plant which is grown in all parts of the world. It belongs to botanical family of Lamiales and is an angiosperm. The spreads gardenia smells and is very much energizing and refreshing.
